0.50/1.00 Question

I've finally built my bankroll up to $400, so I'm ready to make the jump from $0.25/0.50 to $0.50/1.00. Unfortunately, however, I play at PokerStars, where the 0.50/1 tables seem to be rock gardens for most of the day; it's hard to find a table with 40% of the players seeing the flop.

I used to play $0.50/1 on PokerStars, and I was a winning player, but my understanding is that the Party 0.50/1 tables are about as fishy as the PokerStars 0.25/0.50 tables.

Should I build my roll up to $500 on PokerStars, and then take it all to Party, so that I can take full advantage of their initial deposit bonus?

Depends how long it will take to get to $500. With the frequent (and one or two current) reload bonuses, you'll probably be better off getting an $80 bonus now instead of a $100 bonus in a couple weeks.

Another way to look at it is you will probably make $120 on party .5/1 faster than $100 on PS.

if not maxxing out your initial bonus concerns you (which is a highly personal decision.) then go to paradise with the GRANNY code first. play is as bad there. bonus is $100 for $200 deposit.

Come now. Sacrifice the 20$ of potential bonus because of the frequent Party/Empire reloads. Once you get your BR to 700$ you'll be in really good shape to take advantage of them. Also, if you do not have an account on any Party skin currently, consider doing some reasearch on a rakeback deal. It will likely not make a difference at .50/1$ but in a few months you'll probably wished you had at least one account with a rakeback deal on it. However for us micro-ers bonuses seem to be king.

is $200 enough with the ability to deposit another 100 later if needed? for a long time now ive just been playing off and on here and there, with no real bankroll kept

I just did this recently and I recommend it for others moving from Stars 0.25/0.50. Paradise 0.5/1 plays about the same, and there are more full ring tables than at stars for the same limit. I had a good run and cashed out $420 on my $200 deposit which I then took to party and maxed out the deposit bonus (including the remaing $100 in my neteller account).

Anyone know of a good rakeback deal off hand? I've seen a few sites, but I have no idea which ones are legit.
