Opponent is typical party micro fish. A bit loose passive pre-flop, but nothing extra-ordinary. Will bet his good hands post-flop.

I would check/raise the turn, your hand is good most of the time and you want to suck him in for extra bets.

Apart from that it looks good.

Secretly though I really want to fold that river but that would be a sin.

He liked his hand enough to raise the pf raiser on the flop, do I really want to put in 3 bets here when i'm behind? (If he 3-bets, I'm behind). Building the pot with a c/r + 3-bet almost obligates me to call a river UI, when I can see a SD for the same 3 bets.

Weak?

Don't you love it when you put 3 BB in drawing stone dead /images/graemlins/cool.gif I play it the same.

I'd play it the same way. I think the check raise on turn is too tricky against a PP dunce. Obviously, the king did not phase him so calling and check calling the river was fine.

Out of curiosity - why not cap the turn?

Because, barring a LAG read, villain isn't scared of that King.

As villain is passive, I wanted to know how much he liked his hand. By raising me on the turn, I could be confident that I was likely behind. If I'd have check-raised, what hands does a passive fish 3-bet here that I beat with only TPTK?
