Given the extra dead money in the pot, what do I need to open raise? I think KQo is an easy raise, but how far down do you go?

Hand 1 is standard.

Hand 2 depends on the tightness of the players after and the blinds. I'm willing to raise KTo if the players after me are all VP$IP < 25. I'm also very willing to let go if I'm 3-bet preflop.

I play hand 1 the same most of the time. If UTG is moderately agressive, a free-card raise is sometimes good.

I don't think that I'd ever raise KT in this place for hand 2. A player posting in MP isn't likely to fold for another bet, so chances of stealing the pot are decreased. If it had been a player who posted in CO, then a raise *might* be somethign to consider.
