I'm about 8000 some hands in with poker tracker, and I noticed that AQ is very marginally profitable for me (actually, unprofitable until this morning), where AJ and AK are both veyr profitable.

Help!

A) Party Poker 2/4 Hold'em (10 handed) converter (http://www.selachian.com/tools/bisonconverter/hhconverter.cgi)

Preflop: Hero is UTG+1 with Q/images/graemlins/club.gif, A/images/graemlins/diamond.gif.
UTG folds, Hero raises, UTG+2 folds, MP1 folds, MP2 calls, MP3 folds, CO calls, Button calls, SB folds, BB calls.

Flop: (10.50 SB) 2/images/graemlins/diamond.gif, 9/images/graemlins/heart.gif, J/images/graemlins/heart.gif (5 players)
BB checks, Hero bets, MP2 raises, CO calls, Button calls, BB folds, Hero calls.

Turn: (9.25 BB) K/images/graemlins/diamond.gif (4 players)
Hero checks, MP2 bets, CO folds, Button calls, Hero calls.

I think this is a terrible turn call here by me. I have one overcard and a 3 out straight draw, 4 outs max. True, I am getting 11-1 +impied odds (I figure I can collect at least 2 BB if i hit my 10), I still think this should be an easy fold.

River: (12.25 BB) Q/images/graemlins/diamond.gif (3 players)
Hero checks, MP2 bets, Button folds, Hero calls.

Final Pot: 14.25 BB

Even after my terrible turn card, was the river call right here? Any hand he could raise me with after the flop (AJ-J10, or an overpair) the ONLY thing I can beat is a flush draw

A. Check the flop.

B. Fold preflop. Postflop is fine.

C. I don't like the river bet. Check and call or fold, and I think you can fold.

1) 5 players and you missed. Check the flop and go from there.

2) Depending on the player, you either 3-bet or fold preflop. Against most 2/4 players, I 3-bet. The rest is fine.

3) I give up on the river. Check and call.

Nobody votes for betting the river on hand 2?

No.

Is it just flush fear? Or is there something else I'm missing?
I thought this would be a bet/fold to a raise situation.

You make an articulate, sound argument for calling and then say it's a bad move? I'm confused. This is an easy call, IMO.

I think this call is fine. You only need to be good 1 in 14 here. The villain called two cold on the flop. He could easily have AJ, which you beat.

Hand 2: I bet this river and fold to a raise.

Hand 3: I think I play it the same way.

I can't think of too many worse hands that call. Any equal or better hands do call. And I think you're behind more than half of the time.
