This guy is usually a pretty tough critic if something sucks, but he gave TILT a pretty decent writeup this morning. But since he referred to Hold Em as a 5 card game, I'm guessing that poker content wasn't what he was critiquing. Enjoy!

Unfortunately, Koppelman and Levien have surrounded their Matador with some standard bull. Eddie Cibrian of "Third Watch" is Eddie Towne, a would-be hustler on the rise a bit too self-consciously in the mold of Tom Cruise in "The Color of Money."

Towne is conspiring with fellow players Clark Marcellin (Todd Williams) and Miami (Kristin Lehman) to take the Matador down in a big upcoming tournament, unless of course they're actually targeting one another.

"No string bets here, bitch." When his opponent pulls out a small pistol, the guy draws a much bigger gun and shouts, "This time I raise!" (If only the second guy had then rolled in a massive cannon. "Reraise, bitch!")
