The Warden and I were out for dinner and a flick. At 10:18 last night the alarm system recorded a fault at the back door of my house. This thing emits a sound unlike any I've heard before - it's designed to make you want to get the heck outta there. The thing also turns on floodlights inside and outside. The back door has a busted window, but the creeps didn't bother entering the house. Cops say there have been a "couple" incidents in the neighborhood recently.
The system was in the home when we bought it. Probably wouldn't have considered installing one otherwise.
