Seems pretty basic to me. Wish that board had paired for you.

I lost with my set of 5's on a montone board tonight but in a different way. He hit runner runner 4 of a kind. I think you played it ok. I might have bet a little over the pot but our bets would have been pretty similar.

Just doubting myself because I'm playing with bigger stacks than normal now that I have switched from UB to Party and recently it has been build a stack, lose a stack, build a stack, lose a stack.

Not much you can do here. Youre not folding, so youve gotta push. Youre ahead the majority of the time here, and when youre not, youve got outs. Played it fine.

what do you mean bigger stacks than normal? i thought UB had 100bb buy ins and party's is only 50bbs.

That's because the blinds are smaller, not because the stacks are bigger. Also, I am playing 6max now so people come, drop their stacks off and go. Therefore I often have 3 or 4 times the buyin when I get stacked instead of the more usual 2x when I was playing full ring at UB.

Sucked to lose that one to Ks Qc, didn't it?

That would have sucked more because it would have been a bad call on the flop. This was sucked slightly less because he flopped the nuts with A/images/graemlins/club.gifT/images/graemlins/club.gif

Of course it takes my particular talent to hit my set and have him hit the nuts.

Ahhhhhh, I'm sorry but I cant take this any more. Anywhere I go I see "my set lost to runner runner four of a kind tonight". It was a bad beat but it wasn't a runner runner bad beat. He hit his set on the turn so he didn't need the river T to beat you.
