Opponent is looking like he's a TAG after about 25 hands.

I probably would have called. But then most likely I would have folded if bet into on the turn if I didn't catch an ace or a jack. (A king or ten on the turn would've made me wonder whether or not to call one more, though.)

So, in all likelihood, I would have lost one more SB than you did.

Eeeeewwww....this is really easy. Call the raise and fold the turn without improvement.

It is unlikely the clever player has a Q or he would likely smooth call on the flop and raise the turn. Perhaps he has the lower pair or a pocket pair, maybe 88 or something similar. Maybe he has AK and is testing you out. Remember, you believe he is a tight player and he has called your raise so he must have something of value. I say call the raise and consider leading out on the turn regardless of what comes. He may fold if bluffing. Obviously I fold to a turn raise if I have not hit my ace or jack.

call and see what happens on the turn, which usually means folding unimproved.

against some players i may even 3-bet.
