Villain is 70/6/.6 for about 30 hands.

I'm not sure if my thinking was in line or not so I'll let other discuss. Comments on all streets appreciated.

I fold preflop.

If you trust your stats on him after 30 hands , he doesn't appear to pre-flop raise crap (only 6% of the 70% he plays). 3-betting him means you are likely to go heads-up and there are two types of hand he is likely to have. Against big pairs you are in big trouble, against overcards you have a slight edge, if any. The combination of these two scenarios tells me to fold.

Sample size is too small to be sure about anything, but 70% VPIP is loose. Appears passive too. I would put him on a Jack here though he doesn't appear scared by the diamond. He might have JQ or something like that.

Fold preflop, he has see 21 flops (70% of 30) so if he was a loose raiser you would know by now.

Bet the flop, bet the turn, take the free showdown. Fold if raised at any point. Against a more aggressive opponent you might take a different line.

This is not the type of player you want to be 3-betting w/mid pairs, he's a loose player, but not a loose raiser. You're probably best folding pre-flop. But, since you did 3-bet, you need to bet when checked to on the flop.
