Pocket Pair Win Percentages

Curiosity strikes.

I know I'm hitting the bad side of variance with certain pairs, so I just want to see what the everyones' average winning percentages are. I'm not expecting yours to match up with mine at all; I'd just like to see what I can expect over the long run. FWIW these numbers are only through 15-25 hands with each pair and I know that is a tiny sample.

My QQ-99 is specifically where I feel I'm getting the [censored] end of the variance stick. My bad play on some of these hands doesn't help much.

This is from 187-214 samples of each. Can you say, running bad?? I can.

Surprisingly my money losers are KK and 88 everything else is in + , I chalk the KK up to just plain bad luck so far

Well it's good to see that everyones' numbers are higher (sometimes 4x higher) than mine are for QQ-99. At least it gives me an excuse.

Over about 40,000 hands at $0.50/$1 & $1/$2 (an average of about 190 times for each hand).

That's a good question and something I forgot to mention.

My BB/hand for pocket pairs is 0.22.

JJ is -1.89 BB/hand, TT and 99 are about -1 BB/hand.

Mine is 1.24 BB/hand ... losers are 77 (.24), 55 (.02), 44 (.13), 33 (.01). Biggest winner is QQ 3.28/hand.

Wow.

1.24 BB/hand would be about 1 BB/and more than I'm averaging. Meaning over my tiny sample size of 224 pocket pairs, I'd have another 224 BB.

That 224 BB over my 4000 hands amounts to another 5.6 BB/100, which would put me well above <font color="red">(0.11)</font>, lol.

That's pretty much the kind of information I wanted to get out of this. Thanks.

88-55 are small losers, 44 is 3.6% .2, 33 is 7.14% .08, 22 is 6.98% .31.
