I always thought that the vpip (Voluntarily put $ in Pot), in Poker Tracker referred to how many hands a guy plays (or how many flops he sees). But I just had a conversation with a friend of mine who said. No. It's just how often a player puts money into the pot on ALL rounds and has nothing to with how many flops he sees. This would make a lot more sense to me on why people say a vpip of say, 13% is way too low and how some players (who I know play well), have vpip's approaching 30%.
Wow, have I been misinterpreting this stat all this time? Thanks.
