Vegas help needed...(OT)

I know it's short notice but I'm trying to get 2 tickets to 'O' at Bellagio on Sat, Jan 22nd. Where should I go? What should I do? Or just suck it up and grab tickets at one of those online brokers?

I assume you already called the ticket office at the B?? If so then the brokers might be your only choice.

Contact everyone you know who lives in Vegas and see if they are friends with someone who works at Bellagio. If they know the right people they can probably get you some tickets. Its a longshot but you never know.

nobody gets free tickets to O. there are a ton of shows that are compable in vegas but O is not one. (i'm sure there are like some super duper rare exceptions, but it's night like getting hooked up to see clint homes or something)

I know a chick who's dad is in teh show as a clown or somethign and she has to pay to go see him.

If it is sold out, you can wait in line the day of the show and get tickets on a first come first serve basis for a limited number of extra tickets. I did it once like 4 years ago and I think I had to wait in line for like an hour. You can ask the box office.

I mean you can almost see any show you want here by just knowing some people except for a few like O and celine and some other "big" shows.

this does not mean a casino wouldn't buy them for him if he asked because he's gambling big or something, or that they can be won some how, or that he found them, but the notion of knowing someone who can hook you up because they work at the bellagio will not happen for O.

I have been comped tickets to O. It involves much blackjack and craps play.

Joe, I'm not sure if you're just trying to save money, but if you're interested in getting the best tix, I think it helps if you're staying at the Bellagio. If so, you can call them, and they'll try and get you the best tickets available. However, I think as you mentioned, the late notice will probably be a big problem.

That's what I recommend doing. I feel fortunate I was able to see such a fantastic show. I'm a total tightwad with spending, but the money doesn't really matter to me, as I don't usually spend much $$ on entertainment compared to what other people spend. For example tix. to a NFL game are probably 175-250, so, its cheaper than that....

I was not suggesting that he would get them for free. They have seats that are not normally for sale, but you can purchase them if you know the right people. I know this, because this is how I got my tickets. One of the people I went to Vegas with has a friend who knows some Bellagio people. We were able to get tickets in the 2nd row on very short notice.

I'm sure there are high rollers who get comped for this show. There is no doubt about that.

I'm not talking about a dealer or a cocktail waitress. I'm talking about somebody who has "juice". You will not get free tickets, but you might be able to buy tickets to an otherwise sold-out show.

What follows is a true story. Last Monday a lady friend was in town and mentioned she wanted to go to O. While I could have gotten tickets through various channels I first decided to check online. I went to the Bellagios website and purchased tickets to the next show (Wednesday) at regular price and the tickets happend to be in the third row.

The end.

As it usually goes, the answer was right underneath my nose. Logged onto the website to check and *BAM*, got decent seats at cost.

I appreciate all your help and will be in Vegas this weekend. Not sure how much I'll play as I'm meeting my girl in town but she doesn't show till Friday night. So Thursday night/Friday day, I'll be in a cardroom. PM me if you'll be around.
