Button is 75/25/1, on a billion BB run that is tilting the table coaches. Highly passive postflop (went to showdown 65%), unless raising commences, in which case he could still either have a legit starting hand or a garbage starting hand that nailed the flop.

SB checks, Hero ?

bet (call a raise?), check/call, check/fold, check/raise?

(alternate question, given read, was it a bad flop 3-bet?)

What does the flop 3-bet do for us? Is he really going to raise overcards in this spot?

Bet the turn, fold to a check/raise IMO.

I don't like the flop three bet, but I officially now hate 99-JJ.

Anyway, there isn't gonna be a check raise from button as he acts last. You said button is highly passive, so I don't see how you're ahead. I put him on 66 or 77. Bet fold the turn, but check folding wouldn't be very bad (that sounds so weak but it's really how I feel).

Hi-
At the time, yes, I thought he could raise overcards. In actuality, maybe that was wishful thinking. I definitely know he would not cap overcards. In a sense, I paid for the info on the cheap street, and called the last SB hoping to spike a ten.

So then I proceeded to check call the turn...which, I firmly believe, was idiotic.

I don't mind the flop 3-bet since he didn't cap pf (he could easily have suited overcards and is pumping a flush draw). However, I think with the Q on the turn you need to check/fold.

I think a flop check-raise is in order here since you're in the BB...betting doesn't protect your hand. If the button checks through, I think I'd bet out the turn on a non-/images/graemlins/heart.gif.

Whoops sorry about that, I thought that it was heads up. I check/fold the turn FWIW.
