================================================

I'm in the BB with KTo. 3 limpers, I check.

Flop: KTx, all spades.

I bet out to 1.5 pot to charge a flush. I'm also hoping the bet is large enough that a flush draw that is out already will think the pot is big enough as-is, and re-raise me so I can fold. 1 caller. Hmmm.

Turn: Blank

I bet out 1/2 pot. Called. Damn.

River: Blank

Now here is where being out of position really stinks. I check, villain bets out $15. I [stupidly] call. He shows nut flush. Yuck.

================================================== ========

Re-reading it, maybe the 1st hand isn't so bad. I thought for sure someone would have a reasonably strong ace here and be able to call a 2/3 pot bet. Would anyone do anything differently? With a rainbow board and only a gutshot for the straight, giving a free card here is probably pretty safe.

Hand #2. I knew he had a 7 and called anyway. I really struggle letting overpairs go. I need to get better at it. I don't know how many buy-ins I need to lose before I learn.

Hand #3. I know I screwed this up badly, just not sure where it all went wrong. The call on the river is pretty bad, but the 4th flush card never fell, so I didn't feel like I could eliminate KQ, etc. and the pot was pretty large relative to the bet (pot=$32, bet=$15).

1) What's wrong with this hand? There's nothing with fastplaying a set, but slowplaying it would be fine too as there doesn't seem to be any dangerous draws.

2) That's why I don't like pot sized bets, you can't get away from them. It was just $7 more to call a pot of $45, it was a crying call.

3) The hand was played fine, fold to the river bet though.
