What's the widest anyone has found vinyl? I want to make a 60" circular table, ideally with a seamless rail. But that would require vinyl close to 70" wide. I've only seen it in 54" width.

my guess is you are going to have to buy length not width and try and sell the rest off to the next guy.
Have you checked out Scott Keen's Forum (http://www.scottkeen.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=7&sid=943328656e55720956e1f76a02b5 c3bf)... seems like this has been covered in a few posts.

I saw a repair crew in a casino and they had a big long roll of vinyl about 10in wide. They must form it around somehow. I only saw the material, didn't get to see them do it. I assume a heat gun and lots of stretching/stapling is involved. When I thought about it, the casino tables have a better finish on the rail than any home table I've personally sat.

I have looked there. Great forum. I didn't see anything about wider vinyl but I'll try posting there.
Thanks.

Maybe I'm misunderstanding you, but that wouldn't work for what I want. For a 60" diameter table I'd need a piece that is roughly 70x70.
I may have to end up just using two pieces and having seams.

If you're going to end up having seams, i'd suggest doing something like my tables. For the tables I have embroidered, i use an extra "patch" over the rail that makes the seam disapear and it adds a nice look. You can take a look at my tables here: Http://viper12873.tripod.com Both my personal table and the green and white customer table make use of this method. Good luck with your table!
