Just curious as to how studious you all are.

After 7 semesters of college my GPA is 2.993.. about another + from being a 3.0. I slacked off my freshman year getting drunk five days a week so I've had to build it back up this previous two years.

I also go to a Cali state school, which isn't exactly Princeton. Well, it's really not much harder than a community college.

The first 3 semesters of school I got exactly a 3.0 every time, and uh, the last two, since I started playing poker more.....lets not talk about it, k?

Graduated with a 3.5. I got my job offer my Junior year and didn't really do much my senior year so it could have been 3.75.

Mine was 3.42. Econ (my major) was my weakest subject. /images/graemlins/grin.gif I had a 4.0 in my business classes.

Two year degree: 3.4
One year degree: 3.84 (f[/i]ucking Unix class!)

If/when I go back for my four year degree, I'll expect nothing less than a 4.0 (even while playing poker).

Undergrad was a 3.4. Through three semesters of vet school, I have a 3.7. Started off wanting to get a 4.0, but 20+ credit hours of school per semester starts to wear on you after a while. Now I just want to pass and be done with it.

If you put half as much energy into school as you do to OOT, you'd have a 4.0.

It was a 3.2 but it has dropped over the past few semesters to where I am not even calculating it.

3.1 or so. One semester I got a 1.1. That was cool.

it's currently a 3.44. and i really put no effort in. it's sad, i should be at least a 3.7

Why don't you just drop out? I was like you my first two years of college. Then I dropped out and had way, way more fun and was more productive. Then when I went back got good grades and actually learned a ton of cool sht.

I forget, i went to 2 schools. I have been 3.5 credits away from my BA for like 3 years now.

im such a noob.

ThaSaltCracka
01-11-2005, 08:52 PM
well I have taken two quarters off. The last year and a half I have taken it really seriously, and I would guess my GPA for that period is close to a 3.5.

But I like going part time. It allows me to work, meet new people, party as much as I like, and still complete school.

I received a BA in English Lit with an overall GPA of 2.83, and it meant absolutely nothing in the grand scheme of things. Unless you are in a specialized field, the piece of paper is all that counts.

2.65... but I think the average for my college (which was a very selective engineering school) was something like a high 2.9, so it wasn't SO bad. Plus, I had a 2.21 GPA my first semester, followed with a stellar 1.90 the semester after. So me proud of myself.

I'm technically halfway through my third, but I just got past 60 hours, thus finally making me a junior, since I worked one semester and never took summer classes.

I'm up in Athens all the time, I have a bunch of friends at UGA, so I'm sure we'll run into each other. You just root for football, and leave the basketball to us.

Heh.

I don't have much to add. My overall GPA isn't relevant. But I was a Communications major (only those with degrees and jobs get to make cracks about this), and I had a 3.98 GPA in Com classes.

Only class I didn't get an "A"?

Com 101.

I had something like a 3.95 in Com classes at WSU, and a 3.05 overall. Shows you how much I cared about my other classes. /images/graemlins/laugh.gif

And I'm a journalist now, so I guess I didn't need to care about the other classes.

Mine was 3.49, after my freshman year it was 2.5 so it took a ton of work to get it to 3.49. I made the dean's list the last 5 semesters and had a 4.0 one semester.
