A prime example of betting for value when a scare card comes on the river. Helped me pick up an extra bet. SSHE rocks my world.

Any comments on the play of this hand?

I think I would play the same way, but not sure about the preflop raise.. dont like KJ unsuited very much

does SSH advocate raising PF with KJo from MP3 after three limpers? I'm pretty sure this is not a correct play?

You are probably correct but old habits die hard /images/graemlins/wink.gif

Still working on that kind of stuff....but SSHE has helped my game big time.

YES. An unraised pot with 3 limpers? No way I can fold here...

No, this is not way too tight. If a raise were to come after you bet you're easily holding a dominated hand. I'm limping here though after 3 players already limped and hoping that a TAG player does not raise behind me.

A TAG? In a .01/.02 game?? I can't tell if you are joking /images/graemlins/tongue.gif

But yeah, this is an obvious limp, at least.

lol, forgot this was .01/.02 - just started playing 1/2 and plays like make me cringe when i limp and a player who is a TAG raises behind me.

I'd fold preflop.

Fold pre-flop?!? With KJ in MP3 after 3 limpers? Terrible, especially at a loose table.

Is it terrible at a tight table too?

At a tight table you have to think about a lot more. Are the players behind you loose or tight? If I limp, is it likely that I'll be raised and out of position? If I raise, am I likely to go heads up with one of the blinds? After another limper, I would probably limp this at a tight table as well.

I'm pretty sure it's raise suited, call unsuited.
