Ok, since I got on here and was crying about losing so much money. I've made $100 in the past 4 days. Is that good or bad? I'll tell you what I've done and you tell me how good.

Played about 4 hours a day for past 4 days.

day 1) $40
day 2) $30
day 3) $8
day 4) $22

Played exclusively 6 max NL on Party at $25 buy-in. .25/.50 NL . Also, only one table at a time. No multi-tabling.

I might not have played a full 16 hours. I'm not sure. Yesterday, I probably played about 2 hours actually. So maybe 14 hours. So that is 100 BB ?? I don't know everything about calculating this so maybe I need help. You see, I want to quit my job and focus on poker. Don't worry, the job pays [censored]. It is a crappy job and I could get another one with the snap of my fingers. So that is 7 BB / hour ??

I've been so much more patient lately and focused. I'm taking breaks as well and not trying to make a fortune all at one time. I try to play with bad players. For example, players I think I can set up for a downfall.

Also, how good is a queen high flush in 6 max no limit on party ? I flopped one and emptied this guys stack completely but I just wonder where you draw the line on that. It wasn't the nuts but I realize on 6 max you can't really wait around for the absolute nuts.

Making a profit is always good, but you need to play many more hours to see if it's a sustainable win rate. I'm not trying to be a jerk, but I would not expect that rate to hold up in the long term just because you played 14 hours.

You don't say why I shouldn't. YOu don't understand. If I am committed to making money at poker, I'll do everything I can to do it. Besides, I still live with parents.

Yeah, why. I moved away then moved back. I fell on hard times.

It's 1 table for 16 hours, ~750 hands. I don't think I'm far off I say you need 50x750 so provide a semi decent sample size.

About a month of consistent winning then ? Ok, that's reasonable . Or maybe two months. I just wish I knew how to multi-table but I so much enjoy getting inside these players heads and figure out what makes them tick.

How much harder is $50 buy-in at party than $25 buy-in ?
