Bay 101 - Time of Day Matter?

This may be a dumb question knowing how much tighter Party is in early afternoon, but a 2+2 buddy and I are thinking of playing hooky from work one day this week and playing at Bay 101. Is the competition tougher at lunch and early afternoon? We'd be playing small, 2/4 & 3/6.
