Dogs will probably win this poll, because most men like dogs, and I do too. But just this past Friday my wife and I adopted two kittens, and they are very cool.

in high school I had a teacher that advocated killing of cats...so that would make me a dog person.

I do not like animals. I'll probably be the sole neither vote.

This poll is super-queer. This is why people say OOT sucks.
By the way, I have cats because I live in a small apartment, I don't like cleaning up after animals or people, and I'm out of the house too much to properly care for a dog.
When I have a house of my own I will probably have both.

You don't have to walk a cat or pick up a its sh!t.
I prefer cats. I'm scared and suspicious of dogs. Plus they aren't nearly as much fun to pet.

Actually, I don't say OOT sucks. Nor did I say most people think so. I was just pointing out that this is a "meh" poll, meaning I doubt it really matters and why the hell do I care what a bunch of people 2000 miles away think about cats?
But, you'll also notice I responded, because I'm a good Ootian and it applied to me.
So suck it up.

Maybe not, but our last cat ("our" only cat, came with my wife) ruined a lot of stuff because she expressed herself by peeing anywhere she thought it would upset us. Then she went to cat rescue, $100 for a clean conscience.
Kittens are pretty cool, but a way higher percentage of cats turn into neurotic/psychotic beasts when they grow up (as compared to dogs). Dogs are pack animals by nature, and know how to fit into a family.

Cats [censored] in your house. Dogs do it in the backyard.
Dogs listen, cats don't.
A dog can protect you, cats can't.

Hmmm, good point. I'm thinking marinated in a bag (I'm thinking the meat would be a little tough, so I'm gonna use a mix of mustard, bottled BBQ sauce, garlic, Dr Pepper, pepper, salt, paprika, and greek seasoning) for 24 hours then grilled to medium rare.
Sound good? /images/graemlins/grin.gif

only for really tough meats. The acid in the soft drink causes the flesh to break down rather quickly. If you put a piece of steak in a bag with a can of Coke and leave it for 3 days, you'll be amazed at the results.
