I never know what to do when the flop hits when you are BB and have seen the flop for free.
Here is a recent example:
This was the 2nd hand of a Party 10+1.
Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t15 (10 handed) converter (http://www.selachian.com/tools/bisonconverter/hhconverter.cgi)
saw flop|saw showdown

SB (t785)
Hero (t800)
UTG (t825)
UTG+1 (t800)
UTG+2 (t800)
MP1 (t800)
MP2 (t800)
MP3 (t800)
Preflop: Hero is BB with 9/images/graemlins/heart.gif, 7/images/graemlins/spade.gif.
2 folds, UTG+2 calls t15, 1 fold, MP2 calls t15, 2 folds, Button calls t15, SB completes, Hero checks.
Flop: (t72.50) 9/images/graemlins/spade.gif, J/images/graemlins/club.gif, 9/images/graemlins/club.gif (5 players)
SB checks, Hero bets t55, UTG+2 folds, MP2 folds, Button calls t55, SB folds.
Turn: (t182.50) T/images/graemlins/heart.gif (2 players)
Hero bets t200, Button calls t200.
River: (t582.50) 8/images/graemlins/diamond.gif (2 players)
Hero bets t250, Button calls t250.
Final Pot: t1082.50
Results in white below:
Hero has 9h 7s (straight, jack high).
Button has Ac Qc (straight, queen high).
Outcome: Button wins t1082.50.
Flop:
What should I have done here?
Should I just have folded this hand?
check/called?
Was my flop bet too small?
Turn:
This is the only bet I'm happy with, but maybe if I'd known I was going to be making it I should have bet more on the flop.
River:
I thought I had the best hand. Is this bet too big? Since he's going to lay it down anyway if he missed his draws.
Since this was a 10+1, I was would not have been surprised if the button had showndown a pair of Jacks. Perhaps I was underestimating my opposition.
I'd be interested in any comments.
Thanks.
