He almost certainly made the flush but for that price I'd pay it off. He may have two pair or something and doesn't want to let you check behind, etc.

Play it any differently anywhere along the way?

Results apart, I think I push the turn to crush odds for the draw, since they both showed a certain willingness to call you might get weaker hands to call, at which point if you're beat by the river, you type 'nh' and enjoy your sklansky dollars.

I think he meant "weaker hands might call [the push]". I agree pushing is bad.
