Today was a shorter session than i would have liked it to be. I slept in late because i was up so late the previous night. Then, when i woke up, i didnt play because i needed to take my dad/bro/sister out to dinner for my dad's bday.
Finally after getting home around 6:30-7:00, getting settled and stuff, i started playing between 9-10pm. i played for about 7 hours.

What started off looking like a decent session turned sour late. Two major suckouts and one butchered hand took about $200 of my profit. I think im going to be sick. This is very frustrating.

Total hands played today: 2,470
Net$: -34.13
That sucks.

Tommorow i am going to be dabbling in some 6max, hopefully that will go better. Here's my disaster hand and some bad beats, maybe even some good hands. you can make out which are which, comments always welcome. (no results this time)

Too many hands, but since you didn't get any responses yet, here it goes.

Hand 1: disaster, but you know it.
Hand 2: I wouldn't bet the river. Most likely you just got sucked out on.
Hand 3: Looks good.
Hand 4: Looks good.
Hand 5: I would raise the flop. Overcards are getting odds to call this way.
Hand 6: Two flush draws and a straight draw and you bet half the pot on the turn? I think you are probably ahead, and I would want to build the pot and charge the draws.
Hand 7: Don't raise KJo.

what the heck? you don't raise KJo when folded to you on the button?

Meh. It was at the bottom of too many hands. Didn't realise it was folded to him on the button. Sorry. Glad that is the only thing you didn't like about my response. /images/graemlins/tongue.gif

i figured so too, i figured it would be a blocking bet because i thought my hand still had some showdown value, but maybe check fold would have been better?

Hand 3: Looks good.

got sucked out on by...pocket 6s, wtf? i hate this player, twice he has sucked out on me and then left the table 2 hands later

flat called the flop, hoping UTG+1 would move in for his last 25. then i could come over the top.

im not sure why, but i didnt feel ahead, and i really wanted to boat up. He had AT. Oops.

Hand 7: Don't raise KJo.

What sponger said, im not sure about flop action though.

Hand 6: It went check, check, check, check, check, check, check, check and you didn't feel like you were ahead with a set? Strange.

Hand 7: One of them has you beat. I would fold TPGK.

hand 6, it was a timing tell i guess. it seemed like he was considering betting the flop, and considering raising the turn. i dont know if im full of [censored], but that was my feeling at the time.

No offense, but I'm gonna go with you're full of [censored]. /images/graemlins/tongue.gif We're talking about when you made your turn bet, so you can't rely on [ QUOTE ]
and considering raising the turn

[/ QUOTE ] and are you saying that from the fact that he was considering betting the flop you felt like you were behind? Does that mean that every hand where you have a set you feel like you are behind if someone else bets the flop, or just against this opponent?

good points. for some reason i thought i wasnt going to get called by a worse hand in this position. but as you pointed out, there were two flush draws out and also straight draws possible. I should have been building a pot incase i boated up, but what should my river action be? OK as is? i feel very strongly about the turn tell not to rereraise the river, but i think i had some showdown value here if he has KQ.

TheWorstPlayer
01-11-2005, 07:34 AM
yes, i think the river is fine. I agree that people could raise you here with hands you can beat. Could even be a lower set.

Hand 1. Jesus, what happened in hand 1. Why are there all these replies and I still have no idea what happened in hand 1 ? What did your opponent have for god's sake ? Even though you messed up playing it. You still have top two pair on the board. Only thing I see that beats you is a set or Q J for the straight.

DBowling
01-11-2005, 08:57 AM
hand 1
he had QJ. while the river was occuring, i briefly ran through the possible hands he could have. I figured he could have AT, or a flopped set, but i couldnt imagine him betting a gutshot with QJ. After reading the hand history, i realize QJ was a double belly buster, which would explain why he bet it.
I am sure he would have bet the turn with a set. So pretty much i put him on AT, and made the call. Thats one of the (costly) errors that come with 6 tabling while i am very tired and running bad.

#2 AQ (queens up)
#3 66 (straight)
#4 folded (said he had KK/images/graemlins/spade.gif)
#5 TT (overpair)
#6 AT (straight)
#7 BB had KK and SB had A/images/graemlins/club.gifx:club
