As an aside, this is dead on, and exactly why Saturday Night Live isn't funny right now. They consistantly have sketches that bomb, because it's about subject matter that no one is familiar with. Weekend Update making a joke about Maureen Dowd isn't funny, because most people have no clue who she is, let alone if an impression of her is funny.

Eh, off topic rant. Good point by Duke though.

Right on. Last Sat. afterbar we are playing poker. This one dude turns on the horse racing channel 'cause he is hella into the ponies. There are these dudes recapping the races. One other guy says, "Is that Bill Maas?" Horse guy doesn't miss a beat - "Ha! You wish."

We laughed for 5 minutes straight.

It's pretty sad but when I was like 13 I saw Dumb and Dumber at the theatre. Durring the part when Lloyd is crapping the hell out of the toilet that is out of order the whole room was laughing hysterically. I think being surrounded by so many other people laughing really hard had a cumulitive laugh effect on everyone. I don't think I've ever laughed harder than at that time.
