Thoughts on how to play these hands? I am wondering if I played them too weak?

Hand 1 is a good fold.

Hand 2 I would move allin. He's too likely to have some hand like AQ or AJ to fold AK here. I admit he probably isn't going to fold for 1700 after putting in 1000, but the EV of moving allin should be clearly positive. Also I like to move allin here, because folding by no means guarantees that you will even make the money. If two stacks are sitting there with 100-500 in chips, then its a lot closer.

A push may be the best play. I was planning to push had he folded/called/2-3X BB raised. But it seems a 5XBB raise is usually mid pocket pairs, and I didn't want to put my whole tournament onto a coin flip at that point.
