when i tried to install this it said i needed to get .Net framework version 1.1.4322 but i cant find this on the website it directed me to, can anyone help me out here?

you can get .net through windows update.

the only thing i could find was a .net file that was 106 megs, is that it?

it also said it was for service pack 1 and i have 2, does that matter?

Yep that's it.

http://msdn.microsoft.com/netframework/downloads/framework1_1/ which tells you to go to Windows Update.
