what is the worst thing that could reasonably happen to your body that wouldnt kill you?

I think having limbs crushed or being shot in the balls would suck pretty bad.

Getting shot in the balls would suck pretty bad, but overall I don't think it would hurt more than being shot elsewhere.

The worst would easily be a crushed Verberate. You would end up paralized but paralized doesn't mean you still won't have feeling which would be constant pain. You'd be of clear mind but not able to do a damn thing.

Seriously though, on the inside/outside pain question...inside hurts more I think...I once had some bad internal bleeding and let me tell you, it hurt A LOT.

A friend of mine was walking alone in the woods in CO when his family was on vacation. He tripped and somehow ripped his scrotum open on barbed wire. He had to walk back to camp (several miles away). 16 stitches and some unthinkable surgery later...ouch

A bunch of my friends from boot camp ended up in the same unit and were in a helicopter crach together. Some lived, some didn't. I went to visit one that ended up in a hospital near where I was stationed. He was burned over 90% of his body. This was months after the accident, and I can't imagine anything worse. He was simply a giant mass of scar tissue. No visible facial features. Lungs seared. His skin could't keep out germs. Constant pain. Terrible.
