Is that the correct play on that flop and turn? I think I may have underbet the turn...

You underbet the flop and the turn.

looks good to me. i dont mind the underbet on the turn, as its difficult for you to make money on this board. the good thing about your bet is it makes it difficult for a small flush to raise you (small bet looks sort of menacing), so you get to see a cheap river, hopefully pair the board. If not, it will probably go check/check or check/call a small bet.

Please read my "set over set" thread......

It contains info that leads me to want to start a petition to 2+2'ers that we all stay away from pocket deuces....

I've been absolutely HANDLED by pocket deuces that i made a set with....set over set on flop, backdoor flushes hit, you name it.....over 2K hands this week at UB i've lost more than 3x the amount with 22 than i have with any other hand...somehow A3 suited from the blind is my bread and butter (go figure)

Ironically, pocket deuces are the hand i've gotten THE MOST since last night (8 hands out of 368).....i think i'm going to LEAVE THE TABLE when i get them...just getting broken that hard...

You should've bet more on both the flop and the turn. To protect your hand.

I was thinking either 2/3 pot as more of a feeler bet...see how the other players react. I agree that based on his flat call (probably meaning he had a high flush draw) that a larger bet on the turn would've been more adequate. Probably should've 3/4 to full potted it.

not playing pocket 2's is a idiotic idea. A couple of bad breaks suck but overall they are a very profitable hand (just like all pp's) because of the phrase "no set, no bet."

That would've been better, yes. You want to win the pot as fast as possible. But if he is going to draw, you want to make him pay as much as possible.
