Bobcards is LastChance

There are simply too many similarities between LastChance

and bobcards.


First let me say that I haven't followed their online roots quite

as closely as some of you. Also I wasn’t about to start searching

the archives, so i'm sure many of you will have something

to add.


My personal opinion is that bobcards and LastChance were

originally 2 different people (although friends as LastChance

has admitted to). Then because the HU games started to dry

up for LC, he assumed bobcards’ account to get players

to play him again.


That’s why right around the time LC dissappeared, bobcards

starting to kill the HU games.


Bobcards made a comment about how “LastChance failed to evolve”

In the HU games….B.S…for one friends don’t talk negatively about

Friends. For two, you just don’t win $50,000-$100,000 + playing

HU then suddenly “fail to evolve”


What originally aroused my suspicions was bobcards comment:

“seeing my name in the same category as lehrjet and luneta makes me ill.”


Although luneta makes an occasional reappearance at PP, he hasn’t played

much, if any HU poker since bobcards started his assurgence. So I have

strong doubts bobcards has played luneta HU. Also luneta is a strong

80-160 pro in LA, so it’s doubtful anyone would bash his ring game that

bad. I also know for a fact, that LC and luneta had many bitter duels HU.

Also a previous poster noted bobcards seemed insecure, thus

the reason he was putting people down. As I recall LC did

the exact same thing.


The similarities in grammar & writing style are also undeniable.

Although I now think bobcards consciously posts shorter messages

to avoid detection.


Here are a few examples:


#1: They both seem too lazy to capitalize at the beginning


of a sentence and the word “i”. This is the most


obvious one, and their are numerous example throughout both


their writings.


#2: The apostrophe key went out on their keyboards:


Bobcards: “youre fat and i hope you fall off the train”


“dont get me started on how pathetic you are…..”


“its true....”


“trust me it wont only be one…”


LastChance: “and personally i dont care…”


“we dont play short handed…”


“ its not all that hard and i feel..”


#3: Both like to use the word “moron”


Bobcards: “they are all morons and losers. “

LastChance:” the one who is accusing us of cheating is a complete moron

and personally i dont care what….”


#4: LastChance always signed off a msg. with “-LC.” & although


bobcards mixes up how he signs off, he did slip and sign off

“-The Real Bobcards” & “…thanks for the donations. - Bob “


#5: They both have a dislike or fascination with PIESANG and


pooldar.


#6: They both use the”/” key instead of the”-“ char as the seperator

for the limits being played (“-“ is far more commonly used).

Bobcards: “your broke ass loser sticks to the 1/2 anyways. “

Lastchance : “lower limit ring games (.5/1 and 1/2)”


#7: aggressive nature


Bobcards: “Anyone posting that they are winning there is lying and is probably

working there. people as dumb as you should be shot”


LastChance: “i wont bash your head in with a bat now, like i might have 12 hours

ago! now i will just civilly glace at you, give you a dirty look and continue on my path”


The reason I feel like they are not colluding regularly is

Because they (or him) make far to much money playing

HU to risk losing their account(s). As a winner myself

I am extra careful not to play with friends, so there is

never any doubt.


What might scare some of you, however, is something

LC said: “. bobcards and LC rarely play two rings together at the same

time. if you notice we always find that open table where the other person isn't at.”

What was LC talking about when he posted this:

i don't even know what i'm looking for here - it's just a bunch of douchebags with conspiracy theories. i've known both of them for years, before paradise existed. i guarantee you that they're not the same person, and i guarantee you that they fought constantly before ceasing communication. if that's changed, i haven't seen it.

as far as being a conspiracy theorist, i

havent backed up too many IF ANY on this forum -

i have won a significant amount of $ since late

1999 on paradise and have no reason to believe in any of them.


it is my strong opinion that the player playing

poker under the bobcards alias is the same player

that used to play under the lastchance alias.

it's also my opinion that the 2 people who created these accounts originally are indeed 2 different people, one of which either doesnt play any more or plays under a different name himself.


i know somebody that has more than likely played

both bobcards and lastchance HU. Im going to ask him if based on their playing styles this is feasable (of course they may have learned from each other so this wouldn't prove anything)


One only has to go back and start reading their posts to recognize the likelihood.

Did lastchance get kicked off paradise, or did

I know for a fact that LastChance used multiple accounts. Whether or not the list of accounts included the bobcards account is open to speculation.

he gracefully lost it all. it's not me, i learned how to play heads up from him a long time ago.

LC used several names (accounts) on PP. If memory serves they would be: Mookie, lastchance,

Beavis??? and one other that escapes me. His original account reflected a city of arlington, later it was centerville; both cities close to each other in Va. Both players, Bob and lc always offered entertaining chat while playing holdem.

From my observations Bob and Lc are not the same. I feel Bob is correct in his statement "failed to evolve"; although one of the kingpins of PP for many many months and a huge winner for almost a year and a half, as better players arrived and with the lack of chat (to put em on tilt no doubt) lc did the smart thing and left. I for one will miss him.

What diff does it make, one fat redneck is the same as another.
