I filled my 40 GB iPod and I'll be buying the 60 GB when they make speakers for it.

Fook me, 40 gig filled? Do you really have 10,000 songs you need on it? How many do you have in total?

I have a 40 giger and I COULD fill it, but I choose not to. But my 9219 song collection is 42.88 gigs, and a 40 giger only holds about 37 gigs anyway. You could fill it with about 8000 songs of very good quality.

And no, I don't listen to everything, so obviously it makes no sense to be having it come up on my random playlists and whatnot.

40 gig iPod, Grado SR125 headphones. But I'm deaf in one ear, so why do I even bother spending money on this stuff?

I just bought a 60GB ipod in december. I've nothing to compare it to, but compared to nothing it is pretty damn cool.

I could fill it but I just would never want more than about 2000 songs on it at any time.

I like music. How much I need is debatable, but I'm always buying and going out to hear more. I pruned a lot that didn't make it, some of it very embarrassing.

I don't know how many songs but I could easily have 800+ CDs. When I move, most of the boxes are books/CDs. Like the last time I think 15 boxes were packed, and books/CDs were like 10. And those mothers are heavy.

Pretty much, I have 3.5k. I just put stuff I wouldn't mind coming up on random on, but it's cyclical, but I don't bother taking stuff off.

Meh.

I like the iRock. It's inexpensive, small and has a radio on it too.

iPods really are the [censored]. I got my mom a bunch of accessories for hers for Christmas.

The two biggest downsides for me are the size and the lack of waterproofitude. If you don't mind having only half a gig of songs on your player, then you can get them really small.

Being waterproof isn't that big of a deal unless you swim or dance like I do.

ipod, so many accessories, such good quality, so many people are getting them it is easier to share libraries. Kinda expensive but worth it. Just get one and you will know.

iPod to iPod, I don't know. But it's easy to set up sharing between iTunes libraries, if that helps.

I can see how you get another library onto your iPod but how would you get it off to your computer?
