View Full Version : For Tom D..PP scobi triggered

To answer your question, it is VERY easy to amend the software code to pick up key words, such as curses (which is why F*** and S*** show up the way they do, and why scobi is setup likely to cause an automatic trigger to support personnel).

I have removed the PP software from my computer, because i have lost so much there, and BAD BAD ways. To total beginners you would think, while i follow what is generally deemed sound startegy. Iwin in BM casino cardrooms, but lose at paradise, often to gutshot rivers, or to guys capping with pocket 2's every round, right up until the river, when guess what, a 2 or whatever they need drops. It happens from time to time, but at PP way more than you would think.

I have always been a firm believer that PP does not RIG its software, because they don't need to resort to such measures with the $$$ they are making.

But now that I read all these posts, and that i am definitely not alone in my belief that something just isnt right, i might reasssess my judgement.

Heres another analogy: IF Bill gates and Microsoft, who literally have as much money as anyone can, a sound monopoly, and steady cash income, for himself and just about all microsoft employees that matter, why would they resort to illegal tampering with their software and antitrust, just to carve out EVEN more $$$$............GREEEED....and they did it, and they even have WAY WAY more than Paradise would even dream...so why would paradise not be capable of that?

If your listening, Paradise, now might be a good time to come forward and put our minds at ease....

I win on line but loose in the BM.

I don't think the BM is rigged or anything. I know the other players at the BM can read me like a book. Once I learn to not give so much away, I'm sure I will win there as well.

HOW ARE THEY SUPPOSED TO DO THAT? They already give a detailed description of how their shuffle works on their homepage. They've published a million flops. How are they supposed to go about proving their integrity any further? A majority of their customers will always lose, and a percentage of them will always be convinced they are being cheated.

The onus of proof is not on them, it is on you. If you don't want to play there, fine, but don't make accusations you have zero evidence for on a public forum.

Why would Paradise cheat is analogous to why a dog licks himself.

Gee, chris, you seem pretty preturbed about this and are heavily in PP's favour. Thats OK, everybody entitled to their opinion.

But unlike other cardrooms (like truepoker CEO, or even ACR), who come here, to address issues and concerns from customers head on and put minds at ease, PP continues to hide, and let these theories, fairytales, or true stories for all we know, continue to spiral, because they'd rather remain faceless and nameless.

Chris, you are such an avid supporter of PP, you woudnlt happen to BE part of PP would you?

I went thru this with Paradise...I was presented with an explaination that is acceptable to me.

here's what they emailed me.

So as to better enable you to understand the stance that we have adopted towards the website you refer to, I would like to take the time to let you know of the circumstance under which this site came into existence. The creator of the site was a former player on Paradise Poker who, unable to win due to a lack of poker playing ability, decided to slanderously attack our site to account for his terrible play. This individual is currently in the process of attempting to extort money from us. We can assure you that his accusations are false and as such the matter is currently being handled by our Security and Legal Departments.

Please be assured that our cards are 100% random. The randomness of our deals is superior to any other site, and in fact could be called excessive, even paranoid on our part. Nevertheless, it is satisfying knowing that we have the strongest shuffling method anywhere. For the statistical explanation, I refer you to our web pages linked from http://www.paradisepoker.com/integrity.html that have a fairly extensive explanation of our shuffling and random number generation methods.

This individual has made it his mission to spread these lies in an attempt to chip away at the overwhelming confidence our customers have in Paradise Poker. We believe that our clients will see the site for what it is; the elaborate rantings of a pure and simple sore loser. Be assured that we will not allow this individual to use our website as a means to propagate his website, and spread his lies. Please understand, that with this in mind, the Chat Feature on your account will remain permanently restricted. (whiskeytown note - it was reinstated)

If you have any specific concerns about the integrity of our site, please do not hesitate to contact us at any time. Also, I have attached an article written by Andy Glazer, a well-known poker player and writer with CardPlayer and Poker Digest for a more unbiased and independent perspective on the topic of online poker.

and that's that...maybe I'm still winning after cashout because of the vast conspiracy that envelopes me and my family...PP would like me to lose, but my ties to the Illumaniti, the NSA, and the Skull and Bones Society of Yale keep me insulated from petty criminals.

heh heh.

Chris, you are such an avid supporter of PP, you woudnlt happen to BE part of PP would you?

er, no. I play there. It's not difficult to figure out what my nick is.

PP used to post here, but after observing that it did no good, and having said everything they are capable of saying, they obviously decided not to lend credence to the conspiracy posts.

No, they still post here under psuedonyms. Their staff regularly posts. There is no conpiracy. This business breaks US law everyday.

It is an illegal shell company that launders money. It has heavy affiliations with La Cosa Nostra. They probably post openly less frequently because the site is under constant watch of the authorities.
