It has been my habit to call a single bet in the BB with ace anything. However, I never bet when an ace hits and I fold if the ace misses the flop. While this has won me some decent sized pots, it usually results in losing that small bet, and sometimes results in losing much more (outkicked)

How do you play Ace anything in the BB when there has been a single bet and;

1. The raise was an apparent pot steal?
2. Not a pot steal, two in pot?
3. three or more in pot?

If its an obvious steal, you can call with a lot of aces, depends on the opponent. If he's stolen the last four times it was folded to him, you should 3-bet and take control.

But most of the time, Ace-anything should be a fold no matter how many people are in (as long as by anything you mean <9). Do not call raises with A2o-A8o.
