i've just recently downloaded it to my PC and am trying to use it in conjuction with my SNG play. i need some suggestion on how to use it and get the most use out of it. for example, i don't quite understand the concept of equity (pot, chip, etc.) and what it means. can PokerStove calculate preflop %s with two hands headsup or do you have type in board cards?

I found Pokerstove to be a good research tool. I dont use it while playing. Its too cumbersome. The best way to use pokerstove is to get an idea of how hands run hot/cold against other hands. This is mainly used for calculating Push EV for blind stealing and calling all-ins.

You can just put in two hands and hit evaluate without filling in the board or dead cards. I found it a very useful tool
