The world and especially this forum would be a better place if people would stop stating opinions followed by 'and it's not even close'. If it really wasn't close, then everyone would be in agreement and there would be no reason for your opinion in the first place. It's a great way to make yourself look stupid and pollute an otherwise enjoyable thread.

As a result of making this post, I know I'm about to subject myself to one of the lowest forms of humor, but it's expected so have at it.

I'll avoid the humor and skip right to baseless. The above statement simply is not true. People say stupid things which "aren't even close" many times.

I find it funny. Mainly because it's a shot across the bow of the "arrogant one".
