Texas has 5 of the top 10 fattest cities. /images/graemlins/grin.gif

Edit: I should probably explain how it's ranked. It is ranked by how many gyms, nutrion stores, parks, places to go to lose weight vs. how many fast food places and some other stuff.

I don't see how Seattle is one of the fittest.

Basically, the South is fat, the Southwest/west coast is fit with exceptions thrown about. Honestly, if Boston is fit, I'm afraid of the rest of the country.

Yeah that's no good for Texas.
I see Kansas City is up there too, not surprising with as much barbeque as they eat.

On the local news a few days ago I saw Men's Fitness named Seattle as the fittest city in the country. Surprised me...

I'm surprised Buffalo didn't make it into the fattest with all the chicken wings everybody eats while staying inside because it's damn cold and snowy outside.

It's all that good Tex-Mex!!! /images/graemlins/grin.gif

But I'm really suprised that St. Louis isn't on the fat list. When I first moved there, the first thing I noticed was how many fat people & smokers there were.

That sucks for us Texans. But I have to agree with that poll, Dallas #3 lol. There's too much good mexican food in Tx.

A better and more accurate ranking would involve surveying the checkout lines at the local WalMart and calculating the percentage of shoppers that have an ass wider than the cart.
