Stipe_fan will be playing in the event with T3000. Anyone else in? Also, what are your strategies for this tournament? My best finish is 23rd but needed to get into 19th. I played poorly down the stretch and I think fatigue played a factor. (Playing at 3:00a and being up for 21 hours straight is not easy).

I'm in tonight with T3000 also as MHarris77. No special strategies for me, but I have played some extra warmup tourneys this week (a local casino holds nightly NLHE tourneys starting with T5000). Also, I will attempt to lower my vodka consumption. /images/graemlins/wink.gif

Kinggkong- I'm in. The strategy adjustment I make is if I'm in it near the bubble I play ultra tight. If you can backdoor your way in, do it. I've seen some big mistakes in these. If you are lucky enough to get over $100,000 in chips be selective. You can pull this off with less. Good luck all.

After digging myself an early hole and down as low as 1200, I've fought back up to 1800, and down to 1360 for the first break. Aces got no action, and I bet 99 the whole way, which showed down as the best hand. Some great draws that I bet didn't pan out. We'll see how it looks next round (if I'm still here)

Took a nice pot in the 2nd level. I'm on the button with black 66, 5 of us take the flop in an unraised pot. Flop is J96 2 hearts, SB bets, 1 caller, I raise to 90 and only SB calls. Turn is Td, he checks to me, I bet 200, he calls. River is Th, he checks, I bet 450, he calls.

GT+ doesn't work for tourneys. You need to use the tourney time window. I'm really bothered by the observed hand histories. For once I guessed the right table (I was in 160, opened 135 and 2 other tables, and happened to be moved to 135, only to discover that apparently I hadn't been importing observed hand histories).

Anyway, t3185 at the first break. Oooh. AJ, limped in MP after a few callers, floped J high with 2 clubs (I had none), 1.5 pot bet, called by the loosest idiot at my table, who at that time had about t7000. Hit Ao on the turn, raised all in (about 1900 on top of 1300), he folded, with a warning from the idiot: "ONE TIME!" When I asked what he meant, he told me to "FIGURE IT OUT ROOK!"

I hope he keeps his t7000 chips until I get another hand. Second time's a charm, they say.

100/200 blinds, 4 limpers to me(T5900), I complete in the SB with Jc3c. Flop is 842 2 clubs. UTG bets 600, only I call. Turn is an offsuit 9, check, check. River is an offsuit 2. I bet 1400, he thinks for about 30 seconds and calls. Down to T3800.
Very next hand, I raise the open-limper in the CO with AT. Blinds fold, he calls and we see an AJx flop. I bet T1000, he pushes in his last T1400. I call the 400 and lose to AQ. Down to T1800.
After doubling up, I got greedy. Blinds 150/300, I'm in the SB with AJ and T3300-ish. MP player opens for 1k and I push. He quickly calls, and a bunch of rags later I'm out.

9 hours and no AA, KK, or QQ the entire tourney. I might post a tourney report if people want. I don't know how to get my hand histories past the last 100 though? Is that possible? Is it on my computer?

If you've configured PartyPoker to save hand histories to your hard drive, then would probably be under C:\Program Files\PartyPoker\HandHistory\&lt;your_username&gt;. PokerTracker will read them if you tell it to.

Party added this feature a couple months ago. To see how your setup is configured, go to Options -&gt; Hand History Log Configuration once you're logged into Party.

That's an old Hellmuth trick and it worked to perfection. Anyone in on Sunday? I won another seat ghetto style starting w/the 7 dollar subqualifier.

Yes, with 30 wining seats and about 80 or so left I have AJ against QJ with J on the flop. He get the miracle Q on the river and I am out. Sucks big time. Perhaps, an all-in here was not necessary but I felt I had the best hand which I did. Lady Luck deserted me once again so close to the prize package!

I have already won a seat on this cruise and I was playing this one for the $$$.

Yeah lol, that Hellmuth thing was one of the first things that popped into my mind when I won the seat!
