Connect Four: High Art or Poor Man's checkers?
I just played myself in a game and lost. I made some real rookie mistakes. I'm pissed.

There are two kinds of strategies in connect four. The first consists in looking ahead a few moves to "avoid the opponent to win"(wtf?) and in the same time trying to connect four men. The other is looking for a win in the long run.

If you have two expert players who don't make foolish mistakes, can the games always be forced to a draw (like Tic Tac Toe)?

I love connect 4!! /images/graemlins/cool.gif I saw it at Target for like 9 bucks so I threw it in the cart. Then my wife took it out and said, "what a waste of money" /images/graemlins/frown.gif. I'm sure she's right. /images/graemlins/shocked.gif
