My first small blind after posting so reads are iffy. I have seen button play every hand but 1. I haven't seen him raise. I don't remember seeing BB in any hands yet.

[/ QUOTE ]I agree. I think a paired board brings action more often than it brings a boat, so the Js is a good card, not bad. I'd 3-bet. If you find out he has a boat, you shrug and go on.

Nice check-raise on the river. That's one disadvantage to 3-betting the turn: you wouldn't be able to check-raise the river. /images/graemlins/smile.gif
