Nothing obscure on my current playlist, but some of the best random [censored] on my new CPU already is:

anal [censored] - pottery is gay
abo and the twitch - just like heaven

...and a bunch of live leatherface I found on Kazaa back when Kazaa didn't suck.

I think have one of his cds somewhere. IIRC he was handing them out on Sunset Blvd outside the House of Blues as I was leaving a Z-Trip show this Summer.

Also have some of Soul Position, but none of the rest. Anything you'd particularly recommend?

I don't remember - it was in college when I got it. I do know that I haven't been able to get the studio version, which I've only heard on the WMTU college radio station. Stars is a pretty good song though, and I've got that. I don't have any of their albums, though. I think I've been meaning to for about 5 years, but I just never actually get one.

I've got all their albums. Like I said, I used to really love this band. They are a pretty good spacey, indie-rock type of band and their drummer is one sick [censored]. I don't really listen to much of that kind of music these days but I take their stuff out now and then and listen to it.

Anyway, if I can get that from you for old time's sake, I'd be happy to send something back.

I was first introduced to Manu Chao by some italian exchange student in high school.

For most obscure that people will recognize I'll go with "Your the Best" or whatever it's called from the Karate Kid soundtrack, followed by "Barbie Girl" by Aqua, and for obscure and not recognizeable, some random techno version of the Inspector Gadget theme song.

I don't buy music and rarely listen to it. So, the music program on my computer never gets used. But, I noticed two songs are downloaded on it.

The fist is "Rainbow Connection" which I just had to hear after Ed Miller and I heard just a portion of it during a Dany Gans show at the Mirage.

This is the second song.
