since when fastplaying became the new slowplaying. However, I've heard it's now the old way to slowplay. slowplaying is the new slowplaying

I'm pretty sure both of those phrases really became hip after this great post a little while back

That's not when they were made hip, that's when they were exposed as being overused by people trying to be hip. Mr. David Sklansky has written several good books. Any devoted reader would know right where to turn to find these quotes.

I realize where they orginally came from. I'm saying that they became hip to use in 2+2 posts because of that post.

They've been hip to use ever since David "The Man" Sklansky coined them. He's a trend-setter like that.
