Party 3-6

Hero is MP1 with A /images/graemlins/diamond.gifA /images/graemlins/heart.gif
SB has a 40 VPIP and a total aggrsion factor of .5
UTG is an unknown

UTG calls, UTG1 folds, Hero Raises, folded to the SB who calls, BB folds

Flop Q /images/graemlins/heart.gifQ /images/graemlins/diamond.gif2 /images/graemlins/spade.gif

UTG checks, Hero bets, SB calls UTG calls

Turn 6 /images/graemlins/club.gif

UTG checks, Hero Bets, SB raises, UTG cold calls, Hero folds.

I wasn't sure if the SB had a queen but I was positive that the UTG cold caller did, If the SB had had a queen I figured he would wait until the river to raise, trying to suck out another bet from UTG. However with such a low aggresion factor I thought it was possible that he heald a queen.

UTG's cold call scared me and with no possible draws out there I thought for sure he had a queen

Anyone play this differently? This is one of those hands thats been buggin me the entire afternoon

Since you only have one more bet to call you have to see the river here.

DO NOT POST RESULTS TO YOUR HAND!!!!

That said, getting 10-1 I think you should call. You do not have pot odds to the full house draw, but you will certianly be able to make some of that up if you do hit on the river. Also, this play will be made by people with AK, KK, JJ, or TT on a regular basis. I think that you should call the turn.

Heads up I call this down to the river all the time but what hand hand would you put UTG on? especially since he cold called the the turn raise.

How am i getting 10-1 odds to the showdown? There is 10 BB in the pot on the turn and it's 2 more BB for me to see the showdown.

I didnt say you were getting 10-1 to the showdown. You're getting 10-1 on calling the turn. Hence the part about the boat draw.

All the hands you described would likely raise pf too. I can't see you being ahead of very many hands that would play in this fashion given your aggression pf and on the flop

I call down a lot in situations like this, but I'm only starting to really incorporate PT data while I play. You could fold on the river if the cold-caller wakes up.

So what is it that's bugging you? You followed your data and it let you down. I'll do that occasionally.

I dunno why it's bugging me, it just is, It's not like I've never folded the winner before.

Hands on this person is 212
