View Full Version : 3/6 and 5/10 against a very loose preflop player

I ran into a player on a 3/6 table who was playing 95% of flops, followed him to a 5/10 table where he did the same. I broke even, because I was waiting for only the top hands to play against him.

Do you think this is the best strategy against such a loose preflop player. His preflop raise % was 16% and was passive postflop.

I think that without a doubt it is the worst possbile way to play against such an opponent. You want to be involved in as many pots with him as you can. Your borderline hands like QTo in late position are way better than his random hands. Lower your raising standards a ton if you can isolate him.

On the other hand, following him around until he's broke is a good idea /images/graemlins/smile.gif.
