I don't think I'd 3-bet the river unless I knew my opponent was goofy. The chance that you really are up against AA or AK is enough to offset the chance that some goober is just going crazy with QQ-TT.

Yes but what about AJ, AQ, or 88? I'm still ahead of those hands and many people cap preflop with them at 6 max on party.

Yes, without reads I would say call the raise on the river. If you know he is crazy a raise may be in order but it looks like you just lost to AK on a runner runner.

The only one of these that 3-bets the river would be 88, due to the flush possibility.

Sorry, didn't notice it was 6-max and was thinking hands like this shouldn't be capping pre-flop.

I was actually more worried about the turn ace giving him a set funnily enough. When the last ace hit the river i wasnt ready to think that i didnt have the best hand and just automatically kept raising with the third nuts. It was kind of hard to slow down and give him credit for hitting the running aces to make a higher boat.
