Don't get me wrong, I love the avatar. But I don't want to have a thread open and have someone notice it here at work.

I'm also paranoid about the IT guys sifting through all the URLs that people browse, and the avatar could be hosted at an unsavory location.

You can do this:
Right Click on his avatar and hit properties. Find the domain his image is hosted on, ie your url is (
http://lifeinlegacy.com/2003/0920/GozHarryCaptainMurphy.jpg) and the domain is lifeinlegacy.com
Click start | run and type:
notepad %windir%\system32\drivers\etc\hosts
Add a line to this file that says
127.0.0.1 lifeinlegacy.com
Save the changes to your hosts file.

This will redirect the lookup to grab that image to your local box instead of the domain for the image itself, and should keep that image from displaying (after you clear your cache and restart your browser).

I do use flat. And also, the trouble is, when I open a thread, I have no idea if he's in it or not, until I see them boobies shaking.
