Finishing in the money???

I was wondering how often people win tournaments vs placing in the money?

5 person tournaments, 10 person tournaments and larger?

Avg at Party: 30% ITM, 10% win
Avg at Stars (9 person table): 33% ITM, 11% win

Winning players will be around 45% ITM and 15% win rates at Party, and 50% ITM/17% win rates at Stars

Interesting. I almost never play 1TT at Party. Why are the numbers higher for a winning player at Stars? Only by virtue of 8 opponents instead of 9?

Do people really have a 50% ITM record at Stars? That seems awfully high to me. What limits are you talking?

I've kept track of my last 740 Stars $15 SNG's:

44% ITM
13.5% 1st place finishes
22% ROI

I've played the last 426 tourneys at a 34% ROI. Some variance and I've made some major adjustments to my game. When the dust settles I expect to level out at 25% ROI.
