I need some advice on picking a good table..This is how I go about it although I know there is an easier way..so please help..

I log in and open 4 tables..I open Pokertracker and force import..I wait about 10 minutes or so while I take a shower, do the dishes, search for porn, watch the tables, you know the usual stuff..Now this is where it gets tricky..
I open player view and since I am not on the tables I must search for a player on the table in order to pull the table up on player view. I do this for all 4 tables and the best 2 win..Please help me search for the perfect table in a more intelligent manner or is this all I have to work with?? Thanks..

Hey, I'm too lazy to do that. I just sit at the table and wait for the import to come. If the table sucks, I leave.

Umm, if you are playing anything below 5/10, the stats in the lobby should be enough. If the game gets crappy, leave. Usually if I am feeling diligent I check for tables with good PF numbers and one or two known chumps.

One huge problem I've found with GT+ (and I guess regular PT GT) is that it seems to take all of the hands you have on record of all of the players at the table into account when determining table averages. So for instance, tonight, I sat at a table, and there was one guy who I had 500+ hands on who was a bit of a rock (12% VP$IP); after 10 or 15 hands, it was obvious everyone else was pretty loose. Nonetheless, those 500+ hands weighted the table average so heavily that, based on the statistics, it looked very unattractive.

There needs to be an option somewhere to only include hands from the current table in the table averages.
