*Soulsearcher had a 2-1ish chip lead. Augie managed to convince him to drastically narrow the difference between 1st and 2nd place, and then play it out for those prizes.

Oh my God, what a hoot. He had a gigantic chip lead, but it was obvious that he wanted a deal, badly. I had 10 big blinds in my stack, I had virtually no chance of winning without getting lucky.

If I were to replay that scenario ten times, I'd give myself the win 2 times out of ten. Unbelieveable.

Great game augie. I was gonna flat out tell you how bad he wanted to deal, but I figured you knew and didn't want to mess up your negotiations at all. He was making it obvious and still trying to play it cool. Great playing, and great negotiating! I should have worked out a similar deal in my game!
