BB is tight, aggressive, and reasonable. (Stats: 12.2% VPIP, 7% PFR, 2.3 PFAF over 271 hands, and thanks to Playerview I knew all this at the time of this hand.) Not a confirmed 2+2er, but could be.

Too much? Not enough? Comments on each street appreciated.

75 or 77. If he ram-jammed the flush draw and then bluff-bet the river because you slowed down on the turn, he's a retard.

If you notice, the big blind really did everything he could to get max value out of this hand, notably betting back into the flop capper on the turn (probably knowing he could trap the intermediate players for bets before you raised again... a better play than check-raising). I really see only three logical candidates for what the big blind could have here that merited the strength he gave to it.

1. 77

2. 99

3. 64

And I really have no reason to think that any of these is more likely than any of the others. The 9 might make a better straight if our opponent had 64, so though I assume he put you on two pair or a set or something and not a draw. So I don't really have a good reason to dismiss 64.

Breaking these down, there are 9 64 combos, and 3 for each of the sets.

I don't think that 75 is particularly likely because I don't necessarily think he's betting back into a flop capper with two pair and then three-betting the turn. Had he simply called the turn raise, I'd give more credence to top two, but not here. (I can't think he's putting you on a draw... if he's raising you with 75 on the turn, he must put you exactly on 53 or 73...)

With the bettor coming out of the big bling, a straight possible, and a trapped bettor between you and BB who is likely to be beat, would anyone else advocate throwing in a raise here on the river? Obviously you're only calling down a three-bet, but I think a bet might be slightly better here.

Just because I want to be the first person to mention it if it's right, I want to put my official guess in as 99. If BB had 99 that would rule, and I give him credit for a hand well-played.

Ooooh, good call Ed. I didn't think of this possibility. The OESD + flush draw. Makes the nut straight on the turn and 3-bets. When the board pairs on the river, he bets, planning to just call a raise in case Hero was on a set and just filled up.

I also like this because Brad wins the hand if this is true.
