Game is 6-12, East Coast. utg. player raises. Next to act, I have AKo and reraise. The gunner and I are winning players, probably break-even with each other. The remaining 8 opponents are loose and much worse in skill level.

Question is: Knowing this, should I have considered flat-calling here instead of making it 3?

(I flopped a King and won the hand, gunner had QQ).

3-bet always. Let the others call 3 cold if they want, or fold if that's too rich for them. Either way is fine. I'll take AKo with position heads up against a winning player who raises UTG any day.

I vote "easy 3-bet."

If you can't 3 bet, then you might as well just not even look at your cards when the "gunner" raises.
