I feel I played this hand like a scared wimp.

For those of you who have no problem jamming this pot, what are you thinking about? What mental conversation do you have with yourself? Perhaps if I duplicate that internal dialogue, I can improve my game.

Thanks

I'm thinking there's no way he has KK and I'm getting a few more bets in before I'll give him credit for JT.

With similar reasoning to what Marquis said, I'd 3-bet the turn and if villian capped, I'd check/call the river.

I like your suggestion. I read his turn raise to mean he had a powerful hand. I guess further raises were needed to further define his hand.

Thanks

Well you know after the river that he doesn't have the straight. The straight is the nuts on this board and he checked the river, so you beat him. Maybe he went crazy with K9 or KQ.

Reraise the turn, bet the river. If he caps the turn, check call the river. You have a monster on the flop and the turn is a blank unless he has a backdoor to the flush and you still could improve to a full house, then you only lose to KK and he didn't raise preflop so I doubt that's the case.

What are you behind at this point? He could have 99/KQ/Kx that might cause him to bet like this. You kill all of these.

If he caps a turn 3-bet, then I check/call the river.

If he misplayed his KK, then he doesn't like money.

I'm g00t. I like 3betting the turn fishlips and calling a cap and calling the river if he bets. I then check the river. If he just calls the 3bet I bet the river as well.

10J is such a minute possibility and like others have said KK is very unlikely. Play this hand like the monster that it is. Sometimes people go crazy with hands like top two pair like this even against a PF raiser and you should keep this in mind.
